As someone who was a single parent, I know firsthand what it is like to use financial resources efficiently to meet obligations. I have

  • the fortitude to enforce rules

  • manage limited resources

  • balance budgets

 

West Virginia deserves and needs a leader who understands the concerns of its citizens.

I have a proven record of:

  • being a staunch advocate for the people

  • being a defender and guardian of taxpayer funds

  • supporting to eliminate wasteful spending

  • protecting your best interests

 

I have never lost sight of who I represent and work for. I promise you I will carry these same principles into the auditor's office with me.

The people come first!

Accomplishments as County Commissioner:

  • Drafted and successfully passed the Second Amendment Sanctuary County resolution.

  • Draft and successfully passed Pledge of Allegiance to WV State Flag resolution.

  • Collaborated with Delegate Dillon on HB 5440 - Filling County Commission Vacancies.

  • Teamed up with Delegate Dillon on the Transparency and Accountability Act of 2024.

  • Repealed county ATV ordinance banning ATV use.

  • Spearheaded securing WVCheckbook/Project Mountaineer for Jefferson County.

  • Worked with a community leader to secure AEDs for deputy cruisers. 

  • Supported opening commission meetings with prayer.

  • Supported protecting the children resolution - from adult entertainment.

  • Supported the repeal of the solar text zoning ordinance.

  • Facilitated the ending of masks and vaccination mandates in or on county property and eliminated restrictions on businesses related to COVID.
