Tricia Jackson of Harpers Ferry, WV
is running for
West Virginia State Auditor in 2024!

Jackson's roots run deep as a native of West Virginia, Tricia was born and raised in Jefferson County and graduated from Jefferson High School. Most of her family still lives in the area including a daughter, 2 grandchildren, 2 siblings, and her dad, who was a graduate of Charles Town High School. In the late 70’s and early 80’s, her family traveled the state for little league baseball where her dad served as the coach for the divisional all-star team, and her brother was a pitcher. As a child, she participated in the Golden Horseshoe, 4-H club, and Girl Scouts.

Tricia received her Bachelor of Science degree from Liberty University in business administration with a concentration in Project Management. In addition, Tricia holds two HR certifications as a Professional in Human Resources from HRCI and SHRM- Certified Professional.

 

She currently serves as County Commissioner in Jefferson County.

Before being elected to the Jefferson County Commission in 2020 she was a small business owner. Her experience includes Human Resources, Project, and Operations management. She has also served as an adjunct professor at Shepherd University and Blue Ridge Community and Technical College and on several volunteer boards such as the Eastern Panhandle Business Association and Blue Ridge Christian Homeschool Co-op.

Tricia resides in Harpers Ferry, WV with her two dogs, Otis, and Bella, and two cats, Boots, and Cali. In her spare time, Tricia enjoys being outdoors, gardening, reading a good book, and spending time with family and friends. Tricia has an insurmountable love for the State of West Virginia, its people, and its heritage.
